Had a delicious French Cab Franc from Loire Valley; a 2014 Bourgueil named Les Quartiers from the maker Y. Amirault
This bottle came in around $15. It’s a juicy flavor bomb with notes of cherry, blackberry and blueberry (just guessing don’t actually know!?) – with some spice kicks and the slightest slight of smoke. Powerful sips from start to finish. Beautiful bouquet and jewel-toned color. Everything you want in a cab franc!
Pairs well with a steak dinner on the patio with friends 😁
